Summer courses

30-hour courses for primary and secondary school teachers, and for teachers working in language schools. All courses are carried out online

Time to renovate your teaching repertoire with APAC’s intensive 30-hour courses to try out new materials, resources, teaching ideas and tricks to spruce up your language and teaching skills.

The courses combine synchronous sessions with asynchronous work and will be available via APAC’s webpage. Group size is 25 maximum.

Number of hours: 30h

Dates: Courses will run Monday to Thursday for 2 weeks

Starting date: 5th July 2021

Finishing date: 15th July 2021

Methodology: All courses combine live sessions with asynchronous work, with no more than 15 hours per week

Prices: 90€ for APAC members, 125€ for non-members, 100€ for students, groups of 5 people and currently unemployed teachers

Tackling Troubles in the ELT Classroom, with Colin YoungThe course empowers English teachers to become language facilitators by providing real solutions to working in a diverse classroom. Hands-on practice of differentiated learning, pronunciation improvement tools, and questioning techniques will allow language facilitators to create a supportive learning environment where students and teachers develop the confidence to communicate clearly. Exploring Methodologies and Lesson Frameworks, with Tim WarreThis course will compare and contrast a range of different methodologies and approaches including task-based learning, the lexical approach and many more practical and applicable tools and techniques. Trainees will develop their understanding of several lesson frameworks that can be adapted for use in their own teaching contexts.
